As we all knows that many time on whatsapp certain private messages are often. which user/we wants to keep hidden from the sight of others. These messages vary from photos to videos.others do not look at private messages. for this, after watching photos and videos either they delete them or they attach the phone to the lock.  although the android user if wants without these two measures to enforce photos and videos can also be hidden from the phone gallery.

For this they only have to download ‘ES File Explorer‘ app in their Android smart phones.this app is available on google play store for free.  it facilitates user to hide whatsapp photos and videos from the user’s phone gallery which are in the SD cards . 

How it works:

  1. Download ES File explorer to your android phone from google play sore or to download {click here}.
  2. open the app.
  3. click on Es file manager option.
  4. after choosing the option you were able to see “SD Card” option.click on that option.
  5. after this first you see ‘whatsapp’ and then ‘media’ folder.
  6. in ‘media’ folder you get “whatsapp image” and whatsapp video” option.


ES File Explorer provide 2 services:

It facilitates 2 services to hide whatsapp images and whatsapp video.
Firstly,user can change the “Whatsapp images” name to “.Whatsapp images”  and “Whatsapp Videos” to “.Whatsapp Videos” .
Second,And more suitable option is to click on ‘Whatsapp Images’ and ‘Whatsapp Videos’. 
By doing this all the Whatsapp images and videos are clearly ale to see on the screen of your phone. At the bottom ‘+’ option is given. by tapping on this icon you have to choose the file option.then type ‘.nomedia’  and click on ok button. By doing this job all the whatsapp images and videos will be deleted from the phone gallery. in case, such will not happened the, go to the phone setting bar  and then app  finally select the gallery app and clear all the cache files.
